Oh how my life has changed!

Many have asked how Warner is handling his life with his new baby sister. For the most part he is loving it. He loves to give her kisses...hold her....wake her up.....climb up her bassinet....give his mom a run for her money. He doesn't seem to mind this new little baby invading his space. He just wishes she could wake up all the time and play ball with him or watch a movie (which we have done a lot of this week). I think it was harder on myself than Warner. I worried myself sick that his little world was going to be turned upside down. It has changed a little but for the most part he is loving it.

A little piece of Heaven

What seems to have taken for ever has finally blessed our lives. We want to introduce Abigail "Abbi" Rae Roberts. She blessed our lives on Friday March 21st at 8:00 AM. She came in weighing 8 lbs. 1 oz. and 19 3/4 inches long. We are so happy she is finally here, happy and healthy!!

A group FHE Easter Egg hunt!

Yesterday we went to a group Family Home Evening with some younger couples in the area, and had a little Easter egg hunt and dinner. It was a lot of fun. Warner enjoyed the play ground more than searching for eggs. I was surprised because this kid just loves candy. I was grateful for the opportunity to get to go...as for I will be spending Easter in the hospital this year having a baby! The date is set for this Friday, unless I go into labor myself. Which I'm not planning on.....I've had two false alarms where we spend several hours at the hospital and then they send us home. So Friday it will be!

Update

So today I went for all my appointments....I had high hopes that we would be having this baby sometime this week. Unless I go into labor myself we will have her on the 20th. It was a little disappointing, but at the same time a relief. The baby is doing well and that's all we can ask for. Thanks everyone for your prayers!!

Baby update

Ok, sorry for all the post, but I'm hoping to have this baby soon. A couple weeks ago we found out the cord is wrapped around the babies neck, so we have been doing stress test twice a week to make sure everything is going ok. Tomorrow I go in for another ultra sound and if things look good I'm hoping he will take her. We originally went for the ultra sound because I'm measuring two weeks ahead of time. So if the lungs get the ok, then I'm hoping that we will have a baby here sometime this week. I'm at that point that I just want her here, but not unless she is ready. It's hard when I'm ready, but she's not. This last month just seems to go on forever. For those who know me and know how much I worry, it's a huge stress to know that the cord is around her neck. I know it happens with a lot of babies and they are ok. It's just always a worry. So EVERYONE.....keep your fingers crossed that I get to have a baby soon!! I'll keep you posted!

A little luck of the Irish!

So this weekend, not only did we celebrate Grandpa Roberts Birthday we were fortunate to have Ryan's good friend Ray from Ireland come to visit. It's our way of celebrating St. Patricks day this year!! We told all the kids that he was a leprechaun all the way from Ireland. Ryan and Ray told them that there is a special soap called Irish Spring, and if you use that soap you will be lucky. Needless to say the kids were just eating it up. That night as they were saying their prayers Nathan was so thankful to have been able to meet that leprechaun, and he also asked that he would be able to remember the name of that soap. So the next day we brought them a box of Irish Spring soap that the leprechaun had left for them! It was a pretty exciting moment for them all!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Roberts!

We just wanted to wish Grandpa Roberts a very happy birthday today! He is such an amazing man. He has the biggest heart that we know of. He is always willing to help any of his children out when they need it. He makes sure we are all taken care of. He is a wonderful example to us all. We love and appreciate all that you do!! Love......Ryan, Charlyn and Warner

Still wanting a dog!

Today we went to the shop to give Grandpa Roberts a peice of cake for his birthday. There was a little black lab that belonged to Ryan's cousin inside. Warner instantly fell in love. Grandpa taught him how to smack his lips to get the puppy to come to him. It was the cutest thing ever. I think Warner needs a little pup around the house. We're just trying to talk dad into one.

Giving puppy loves!
Puppy trying to get Warners shoes

Warner would run around so the little puppy would chase him. This entertained him for almost an hour.

Nascar Baby!!

This last weekend Ryan lived his dream in Vegas! He went to Nascar to watch his favorite driver Tony Stewart. Although Stewart wrecked out of the race Ryan had a blast. He went with some of his buddies down here in Salina. He is hoping to be invited again next year. Until then we will pack up his orange Tony Stewart clothes with his hunting gear until next year!! I'm glad you had a good time Ry.
