Daddy mad at Warner

Yesterday I was getting ready to make dinner when Warner brought me a box of daddy's golf balls. I told him he better put them away or daddy will get mad. I continued to make dinner while he was in the other room singing Daddy get mad at Warner (yes he talks in third person). When I finally went to check on him this is what I found. Looks like Warner had a T-time and it was worth daddy getting mad at Warner!

Who needs a nap?

Warner has been trying to get out of his naps for some time now. He will come downstairs 5 mins. after I lay him down telling me "Mom....Warner Wake". I don't think so, so I take him back up to bed. After fighting him for 2 1/2 hours I gave in. Then during dinner time this is how I found him.

Yard sale and Lemonade

My sister in-law Lynzie had a great idea to have a yard sale. We had a couple of storage unit repos that we included in with our junk. It felt good to get rid of stuff we don't need or use, and a plus too that I made a little extra cash for my wallet!

Abbi rolls from back to belly

It seems like Abbi is just growing right up. She started rolling from her back to her belly now. She gets so mad, because she doesn't like being on her belly. We just love all her new little moves and noises. You forget how much fun all these different stages are.

What is this?

The other night I was holding Warner while we were watching TV. He turned to me with something in his hand and said "Mom, what is this"? I picked it up and it was really sticky. I said to Warner where did you get this? He said my nose!! Sick!!!! Guess it's all part of being a mom.

It's a pirate party

Yesterday I took Warner over to the county fair to a pirate party. It cost us $1.00!! They started off reading pirate stories. Then they colored a pirate picture. Then they took the kids that were dressed up as pirates for a little parade on the stage.
Then they took the kids over to the sand to dig for treasures. They had all these gold nuggets buried. Warner was more into playing in the sand then looking for the nuggets.
After searching for treasures, the kids walked the plank and then made these little I spy jars. Warner loved every bit of it. It was such a cute idea and only cost $1.00! I hope they do it again next year.

Girls just wanna have fun!

Last weekend some of my girlfriends from High School got together for a girls night in Park City. It was so much fun! We met on Main Street and ate some yummy food. Then we walked the streets to enjoy the Kimball Arts that was going on. Once we finished there we decided to check into our hotel. Kindy was so excited because online when she booked the hotel the pictures were AMAZING!!! Once we checked in and got to our room it was a such a shock. The couch had holes in it everywhere. The carpet looked like a pile of hair balls. The decorations had to have been from the early 80's. Then there was this weird decoration on the wall....once we got closer it looked to be mold growing up the wall. We were so disgusted. Kindy went to tell them we wanted our money back and we wouldn't be staying there. We ended up staying in SLC because EVERY hotel in Park City was booked. Once we shopped our hearts out we headed to SLC. Ate a late dinner and then went to our hotel. We stayed up till' the wee hours of the morning laughing about our crazy day and all the memories we had made. I just love that even though I don't get to see my girls often, when we do see each other it's like we didn't miss a thing. I was so lucky to have such great friends in High School and am glad they are still my friends today. We missed Mel, but thought about her!
