What to do with the perfect pumpkin?

Every year after we find our perfect pumpkin we cook us up some dinner in a pumpkin. It's ALWAYS a hit with the kiddos!! Can't you just see the excitement in their eyes waiting the the dinner to be revealed. That's right everything we ate that night sits inside the pumpkin!

Nebo loop a memory we wont forget!

One Sunday afternoon we were invited up to my sisters for a dinner for dad's birthday. Since everyone else had latter church we decided it'd be the PERFECT time to do the Nebo Loop. Ryan has always wanted to do this and knew it would be an experience he would NEVER forget!
We were so excited when we reached the summit! It was all down hill after that!!
We made several stops along the way. Sophie decided to get sick on our way. We weren't even 10 mins. into the loop before her first accident.

But what a perfect time to stop and walk around and enjoy the beauty around us!
Warner and Abbi wanted to bring home every leaf they touched. They were so excited to pick and see so many different colors. The other day Warner told me "Mom, it's fall time" Me, Yes it is Warner, how did you know? Warner "Because the leaves are different colors". It's so fun watching him learn and grow!

Sophie's next mishap happened to be at the perfect spot. There was a little trail that Ryan and the kids went on while I changed the diaper. They came back to get me. It was something you wouldn't want to miss. It was a mini Bryce Canyon. The coolest thing ever!
After all of Sophie's troubles, Abbi decided to get car sick. This short little trip took us 5 hours to finish. It definitely is a memory we will NEVER forget!! It was worth it though!

The perfect pumpkin

Every year we try and make it to the pumpkin patch to pick out our perfect pumpkin! This year was no exception. Warner, Sophie, Sydney and Abbi waiting for the tractor to set off on the hunt for the perfect pumpkin! It takes a lot of concentration and serious thought to which pumpkin you pick.
Sophie's wondering what's the big deal with the pumpkin she likes the vines!

Abbi and her dad found the perfect pumpkin. Not to big and not to small, just the perfect round pumpkin.

And there you have it! That's how we get our perfect pumpkins!

After the Dirty Dash

Charlie and the Dirty Angels after 6.2 miles in the mud.
Monica, Kristie, Ashlie, Myself and Ryan
This was the pig pen. We had to climb over that wall. Charlie was there to help his angels get over.

The slop n' slide. This was my most favorite part. It was hilarious. Plus you got some what cleaned off while going down. Don't worry.....we weren't clean for long!!
Just when we thought we were done they had this for us to "swim" through. Everyone was thinking it was for the little piglet kids run. Are you kidding? It was for us!

Fear not they had showers for us to "clean off". The showers felt like they melted ice cubes and poured them on our heads. Coldest shower I have taken in my life. Like I said we had a BLAST!!! Looking forward to the 5k in the spring!!

Charlie and the dirty angels

This was our latest running adventure. The DIRTY DASH! What a riot it was. This was a 10k mud run. That's right we ran in the mud. We ran up the big pig climb, through the hog wallows, over pig pens, down the slop and slide. These are the before pictures, we had to order the after pictures because we were so muddy and tired that no one wanted to run back for the camera! Once again Ryan was the only guy, and that's how our team became Charlie and the dirty angels. The angels are from left to right Ashlee, myself, Monica and Kriste. We had such a blast. This is the first mud run any of us had done. It was harder than I had imagined. Running with that extra weight, up the mountains is tough. I'm telling you the Little Debbie oatmeal pie never tasted so good as it did when we finished.
Thanks Charlie and the dirty angels for one of the funnest runs I've ever done!

Warner's first day of preschool

This is Warner's first day of his last year of preschool. He loves school and has been looking forward to this day FOREVER! The night before school started he was so cute when he said his prayers. He prayed that he would have a good day at school, and that Abbi would do good at dance. Then to finish off his prayer he said "Heavenly Father please bless that Sophie will be okay alone at Heathers (daycare)". He's such a thoughtful big brother. Always taking care of his sisters. Finally we are on our way there.

He was so glad to get rid of the yo gabba gabba back pack from last year. He moved up to spiderman!!! Go get em' buddy!

Abbi's first day of dance

Abbi started dance in Sept. for her first time ever! She has been so excited since we decided to sign her up! The night before she wanted a fathers blessing like Warner had for school. So Ryan gave her one. She was awake first thing in the morning waiting with her back pack on. On Mondays she goes to daycare before dance so today she got up and got ready before we went. Usually it's so early we just go in our pj's, but today was the exception to that! I just love this picture of her smiling from ear to ear.....she could hardly contain her excitement.
Here she is picking her up from daycare. She's ready go to! This was enough to melt my heart seeing her in her little dancing clothes for the first time.

Making her way to class.

She's ready to go! Her teacher is Mrs. Penny. Her little friend Boston is on the other side of Mrs. Penny. She loves every minute of her dancing.
