Christmas Eve

This year Christmas Eve was spent at my dads house. We ate and we ate delicious food! We've learned over the holidays that Sophie loves her some pie! It doesn't matter what flavor it is she'll take what she can get. Griffen left his plate and Sophie finished him off. Griffen wasn't very happy about that at all!

We read a story about Jesus. The kids used their finger puppets. It was somewhat a hit....OK, not really, but we tried!

We lost Sophie during story time.

We opened presents! Abbi loves her Fur Real kitty. She named her Ashlynn after her cousin.

Look at Warner's face! He couldn't believe his eyes!!! He finally got some Lego's. He's been waiting to get some. We told him after his sisters were older and wouldn't eat them, he was such a good sport about that answer. So, needless to say when he saw Lego's the excitement hit the fan!!

Sophie loves her Little hippo tent!

We played with all the new toys! Sophie and her new cousin Mac making some music!!

Emree got new makeup! Abbi was her first client......Abbi loved every minute of it.

Well, and Ryan.....he loves the Lego's too. We had a wonderful Christmas Eve with family! Thanks dad and Brenda for making a perfect Christmas Eve!!

Dancing review

One of our December activities included Abbi's dance class review. Parents were invited to attend the class to see what the girls have been learning! Abbi mastering her head stand!

The little diva did the tumbling quite well! As for the dancing.....she was a little shy!

Yes....this is how she danced, almost the entire time! It was so much fun to see what they are learning. Abbi may not be overly interested in dancing yet, but she gets excited to have her little outing!!!

Total Chaos!

As if life wasn't already busy enough, we decided to squeeze in Temple Square to see the lights. We went with my entire family, plus we met up with the Westons (the family who adopted Jeannies baby). There were a total of 12 little kiddos. Between bathroom breaks and losing kids it was totally chaotic! Luckily the lights were just as beautiful as ever and we have this picture to prove it.....we won't be needing to go back for a few years! Hopefully everyone is having just as Merry Christmas as we are!

Love these ladies

Here you have my sisters and also my second sisters and second mother....the Beagley girls! We grew up next to each other and have so many fun childhood memories. We loved spending time at the Beagley home, with all six of there kids it was always pure excitement! Jodie and Amy always wanted to be at our house where it was nice and quiet! Jolyne was always so good to us. She would take her entire family plus my two sisters and I to church each week. Now lets be honest....it's hard taking just my small family to church let alone the neighbor girls. I'm so grateful for her doing this. Not sure where I would be if she hadn't influenced me the way that she did! We were able to squeeze in lunch at yummy Brick Oven....while Jodie was home for the holidays. As always it was so good to see the Beagley's...and Jodie's new little munchin!!!

You better watch out!

Here's Warner and Sydney at our Ward Christmas party. It was themed on back to Bethlehem. They did such a great job putting it on. The kids loved that as they walked in the door they got a bag of mites (pennies). They had to go through and buy each item on their plate. Warner specifically telling Santa that he wants a DS. Hopefully Santa listened close, because he really really wants one!
Abbi and Sophie were scared to sit on Santa's lap. With the help of Syd we were able to get them up there. Abbi's been worried that she didn't tell Santa what she wanted......but we all know she would love a "darbie" house (barbie).

We knew we were in Bethlehem when we arrived and there were goats greeting us! What a great night.

All the hustle!!

Warner and Abbi had their first singing performance of the year. Is it me or do they both look scared to death? Warner has made leaps and bounds....he actually sang this year without me holding him. Wahoo!! Abbi did such a good job too. This is her first year and she is loving it. She loves her Ms. Tammy! I think she's singing better than she's talking! It was the begining of our BUSY BUSY month, but we love it!

When the packages start coming the robots come out!

We got our first package in the mail and the kiddos were so excited. Not for what came in the package, but for the BIG box. Their dad couldn't resist but turning them into robots! The kids loved it!! I know everyone feels this way, but honestly my kids are pretty lucky to have the dad that they have!! They wore these babies around for two days!!

Let the search begin

Every Saturday after Thanksgiving the Roberts head out to find our annual Christmas tree. Each year it's ALWAYS an adventure.....and this year was the same. We first headed up Gooseberry, but we didn't get to far. We came across a couple of trucks that were stuck. Of Course Joe was able to get them out, like he does everyone....but without the snowmobiles we knew we couldn't go on. So we headed out by Loa, which was a long drive for a tree! Denice and Sophie hanging out for Ryan to bring our tree back. I thought Ryan was just going to cut the one we spotted down, but a half hour later when he hadn't returned I knew he had ventured off.

Poor Warner made the long trek with his dad! He was relieved to see uncle Ty. Warner bug was completely EXHAUSTED hauling that tree down the mountain!
It was a all day experience that we hadn't planned on. We didn't take much for food, because we thought we'd be home in time for lunch. Luckily we made it home just after dinner time. Everyone was STARVING and COLD!!! But hey.....we have our tree and love it!

Thanksgiving Day

This year Thanksgiving was spent here at home with the Roberts. Here is Grandma Evelyn (Ryan's Grandma) and our little family. So glad we could spend this time with her and all the rest of the family. Sophie devoured the pumpkin pie. You can just see how excited she is!!
It was tough work getting all that food down, but somehow we managed! Just in time to play a round of BINGO!

Can't leave the party with out cleaning up right! Warner and Abbi were so excited to get the big brooms to sweep with. What wonderful little helpers. We held it at the new Rec. center in town, so it was really exciting for all of us!

Little Miss Abbi working her heart out!

Nov. 13th

On November 13th my brave little sister did an amazing thing. She gave birth to this beautiful baby boy, Tyler. He is simply adorable. You may ask why is she so brave? She gave the greatest gift anyone could ever give someone........ She gave the Weston's a little boy. I am so proud of her and the decision she made. It wasn't a easy thing to do. Although we have felt so much comfort with her decision. This little guy is going to be so loved. The Weston's are allowing our family to be involved in Tyler's life as much as we want. What a comfort that is. They are amazing, and we are so excited for them.

I love BOTH my sisters so much. I'm so glad we could be there for Jeannie during this time. It's been an amazing experience for all of us.

And here you have little Austin loving on his brother.

Besides my mom I haven't met anyone else that knows how to keep my dad in line!! We are so happy for the couple. This is the entire crew!! From left to right we have Brenda's parents then her daughter and husband. Then the lovely couple, Burke and Kristie, my cute little Grandma, Jeannie and Ryan and myself! It was a wonderful evening.

And there you have it....it's official!

Ghost and Ghouls 2010!!

Happy Halloween....better late than never!! Our Halloween was full of little Geshia girls, a Vapiress (Sydney) and Spiderman!! Here they are at the town trunk or treat!

Warner and Abbi waiting for grandma and grandpa to answer the door. They were so excited, they thought that grandma and grandpa would be scared when they saw them. Little Miss Sophie hanging with Uncle Joe at the trunk or treat. Why should she go beg for candy when Joe has a endless supply of chocolate that he continues to feed her.

Abbi filling her little bag.

The day after Halloween Sophie got caught red handed by her dad eating the kiddos treats!!

195...ish!

So after the Wasatch Back Ragnar we decided to continue on our journey and head to Las Vegas where we could earn our saints and sinners medal. We probably wouldn't have done it, if Ryan hadn't signed us up. Thanks again Ryan! This is our van....once again Ryan is the only guy. We have Lahoma, Myself, Ryan, Kristie, Jerianne, and Chanelle. These girls are in my sisters ward and we just had a blast with them!! This is before we started running....we're still happy!!
Kristie ROCKED it! Here she is on her first run. She had 24 miles total. Her last leg was a 10 mile run. I cried when she finished. She did an amazing job!! Love ya sister!

That's my man!! Ryan had 15 ish miles total. After Kristie's 24 it made us look like we were taking a walk in the park! Ryan did awsome! He had some personal best on his runs.

I'm passing my wrist band off to Lahoma. This is how it's done after each run. I had a little over 12 miles total. I tell you it was the luck of the draw! Thank goodness.

There wasn't a ton of scenery, but we came across a old miners town!

My cousin Matt waiting for his wife Candi to come in. They were in the other van. You can see he's a little emotional right here. He made us all cry. Candi was having some issues this run and made Matt really nervous.

You may ask why we do this......the picture says it all. This is toward the end of the race and the Dodge ball team has still got energy to dance!

Or we may just do it for the scenery along the way! They even had a donkey crossing.

But really this is why we do it!! 195 miles in 32 hours and were still smiling!

What to do with the perfect pumpkin?

Every year after we find our perfect pumpkin we cook us up some dinner in a pumpkin. It's ALWAYS a hit with the kiddos!! Can't you just see the excitement in their eyes waiting the the dinner to be revealed. That's right everything we ate that night sits inside the pumpkin!
