Final Birthday post

After a week of celebrating after Christmas we had a bowling birthday party for Warner. He had all his cousins and grandparents there! Even ones who traveled far. Thank you!! He loved everything! From the bendaroo's the "halky talkies", Diego games, memory, bat mobile for his bat cave...this kid was spoiled!

Happy 4th Birthday Warner

Warner celebrated his 4th birthday in December. We can't pin point the exact day because it's a week celebration around here!! That's just the way we like it! Sunday after church we had the everyone over for lasagna dinner. Warner was just plain tuckered out he fell asleep at the cupboard.
He woke up for cake and presents, but he's still not sure if he's having fun! Being three for Warner must have been a good year, because he did NOT want to turn 4. He said we could have a party, but he was staying three.

Now he's starting to warm up!!! People bring presents to birthday parties!!! Happy Birthday Warner Bug!!

All I want for my birthday!!

When we asked Warner what he wanted for his birthday he told us his room painted and Wally the green giant on his wall!! I should have done before pictures. Darn! So Lynzie and I painted a couple walls blue and the bed, and dressers. Then stuck a few fatheads on the wall and it was a hit!!
Warner showing off his Boston Red Sox room!

You can't see but his bat has a Boston Red Sox logo on it with Warner's name engraved on it. His uncle Chuck picked it up for us. He's waiting for warmer weather to go hit some balls.

And there you have it....the mess and all!!

Christmas Day

Christmas was so much fun this year. The kids were so excited for Santa to come. Santa found them at Grandma's house and boy did he ever spoil them. Abbi was so excited to get a few baby dolls and a kitchen. She's such the little mother hen. I LOVE it.
Warner got his "Weapster" (Leapster 2)!! He has been wanting this for quite some time. It was priceless when he opened it up. I've never heard this kid do the boo yah chant so loud! It just made the day that much better.

Sophie was just glad for some wrapping paper. She is seriously the best baby ever...sometimes you forget she's even there. She got clothes...teething toys and a big present that mom and dad decided it might make a better birthday present!! Are we awful? After it was all said and done we just had way to much stuff that her big present would've just put us over the top. Besides she'll have more fun opening it on her birthday!!
All in all it was a wonderful day! We got up early, destroyed the grandparents house in a matter of mins. Had our usual yummy omelets and then off to Grandpa Warner's house. We made it back to Salina in time to play some Mario Bros on the Wii. I was reliving my Nintendo glory days!!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve was spent in Salina at Grandma and Grandpa Roberts. From finger foods, to the kids white elephant games, new pj's and reading Christmas stories and the adults games it was a good time had by all!! We did a Disney theme with the pj's this year. Abbi absolutely thought she was a princess in her night gown. She twirled and twirled all night long.

Merry Christmas

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR HOUSE TO YOURS!!

Searching for the perfect Christmas Tree

Every year it's a tradition to go out and find our families perfect Christmas tree. EVERY year Ryan and I seem to get stuck. But fear not.....Joe is always there in his Ford to pull us out! Still trying to convince Ryan Ford is the way to go. Until then we will sit in snow in his Dodge!!Abbi just loving being outside in the cold.
Ryan found this Charlie Brown Christmas tree. The kids loved it. Warner insisted we bring it home for his room. On our way home we told him it blew out. This kid is no dummy. He found it the min. we got home. We made a compromise and bought him a fake little tree at Wal Mart. That worked until Abbi started pulling off all the lights and eating them. So Warner was tree less this year!

Warner and Sydney laying in the snow. There wasn't a ton of snow so if they found some they just laid in it.

On our way we stopped in Kasherum (sp?) This is the sign on the gas station/grocery store/post office/ H1N1 vaccination center! I got such a kick out of it. Everyone needs room for that deep bend.

Home for the Holidays

This year at the Home for the Holiday's on Main Street Warner's singing group got to perform again. Last year he was so scared. He went on the stage, but wouldn't say a word. We have made progress this year. He went on the stage as long as I was holding him! Surprisingly he actually sang this year. I couldn't hear him, but after watching the video back of him.....words were coming out of his mouth!! YEAH! Now lets hope that next year he'll do it all on his own!

As you can tell I was the only mother up there. Ryan told me to not make him go up, but I was determined. Even if it meant I had to sit through the entire production! He sang All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth and I'm all shook up. It was so stinking cute.

Ya, he looks like he was in pain, but he loved every min. of it!!

Home for the Holidays and Santa

While we were at the Home for the Holiday's on Main Street the kids met up with Santa. Warner was sure to tell him how badly he wants a Leapster. That's it, just one present!! He's going easy on Santa this year!!As for Abbi she wasn't so sure about "anta" as she puts it. All she wanted was to get off his lap!! But if she would have stayed and told Santa what she wanted I'm sure it would have been a BUNCH of baby dolls!!

Thanksgiving Day

This year was our turn to spend Thanksgiving with my family. We had dinner at Kristie's house. For some reason my pictures are out of order, but this is Great Grandma Hone with Sophie. We are so lucky to still have her around to bless our lives!
Before the big day Kristie talked me into running a 5k with some of her friends in the neighborhood. It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be having not really trained. The only bad part was we got up at 6:30 that morning...ran, cooked, cleaned up and then shopped until 7:00 am the next morning. No deal is worth it at Kids R us to do that again!!

This is what happened to all those who ate to much turkey!

I promise we were all there....just Sophie stole the camera most of the time. There aren't any other pictures of the rest of the family!
