Christmas 2007

What a wonderful Christmas we had. It came so quick. We never even got our Christmas cards out. Seems like December just flew right by us. We stayed in Salina for Christmas this year. We had our traditional dinner at Ryan's parents on Christmas eve. Lynzie and Travis put together the Nativity program. I was Mary great with child!! Can you imagine that! The kids loved it. After the program the grand kids got to open their presents for the cousin they had picked. We drew names on Sunday night and then went to the family dollar to find that special gift. Our goal was to find the loudest most annoying toy we could find to drive the parents crazy! I think the kids really enjoyed it. After the Christmas eve party we went home to get a little sleep for the night. It was about six in the morning when we received our wake up call because Santa had been to grandma and grandpa's house. We do this every year. You can barely walk in the room there are so many presents. I'm sure there will be a day that we will run out of room to have Christmas all together, but for now we love it this way. It's really hectic, but that's what makes it exciting. My sweet dad came down and spent the Christmas holiday with us. We are so glad that we have a room for him to stay in now. He no longer gets the air mattress that goes flat before morning. We all got everything that we wanted and needed. We are truely grateful for all we have and all the blessings we receive. We hope you all had a Merry Christmas and that we get you a Christmas card next year!!
