Princess and the ball!

When Junior Prom came around my friend invited me to go watch promenade. Abbi wanted to come with to see all the pretty dresses!! So we had a little date and went to the ball. Abbi wanted her hair done, lips painted, and put on her best princess shoes she could find. She twirled in her skirt and balanced as she walked in her heels. Thanks for the fun little date Princess Abbi!

Just not my thing

This year Warner was old enought to try out wrestling. He was excited because he spends a lot of time on the floor getting "roughed up" by his dad. That's what they call wrestling in our house! Warner was so excited to go to practices and wear his singlet!! He was even excited for his first wrestling match.
And then it happened.....he had his chance to wrestle and boy was he scared to death. Could it be the wrestling moms on the mat screaming at their kid to take the crying boy down?? Not sure, but it took Warner almost 30mins. for one match. We would have to get the crying under control and then he'd get back out there. Poor kid....kept going back for more.

Wouldn't you go back for more if you knew there was a medal involved. Well Warner did!! Not sure he'll ever go back again, but he has his medal to prove that he tried!!!

Valentines is such a "LOVELY" day! It was pure excitement around our house!

The kids were so excited to find rose pedals and a can of rootbeer with a ballon, and candy necklace on the porch for them. They have the best dad ever! After he left his treat I left mine and ran. Then cousin Syd came and did the same thing. When Grandma and Grandpa left the goodies they had Abbi ran to the door yelling "NOT AGAIN"!! They were so excited!!

Backfire!

While potty training Abbi I had some "supplies" to reward her with after she filled a row of stickers. What do you think???? I think it back fired on me!!

One could only wish the lips were the only place I found the lip stick. It was all over the couch and her clothes (which it didn't come out of). Gotta love it!
