Family pictures

On Halloween we did some family pictures. I wasn't overly thrilled with how they turned out, but hey it's fun! Next time we will pay a professional to control the ENTIRE Roberts family. We have to many captains and not enough Indians, or so we've been told! I promise Abbi isn't mad.....she just always gives this look when someone else besides mom and dad try to get her to smile.
This will be my final post for now.....I'm all caught up and can work on getting my book printed for last year!! Yahooo!!

Bath time

My mom use to make all new babies these cute towels. My wonderful mother in law took it upon herself to learn how to make them. I love it!! And I love my mother in law for always being so thoughtful and taking such good care of us. I think my mom hand picked her for me, because she knew I was going to need her. Sophie will treasure this forever.

First snow day

Last week we had our cousin Easton over for the night. It happened to snow and the kids were so excited to go out and play in it....even without gloves. Warner kept getting his snow clothes back on through out the day. It's always exciting to see winter come!!

Just a little side note.....I told Warner he needed to come eat lunch the other day and he told me "Mom I already ate" Really Warner, what did you eat? "I ate a snow ball" I love it!! If only I got full from eating snowballs.

My buffalo hunt!

Ryan and I with the buffalo. We worked hard to get this cow. Ryan spotted a herd from far away. He couldn't figure out how we were going to get to it until he spoted a fence. He followed the fence line until he found the road. So we headed over on our four wheeler and then about a mile before we got to them we snuck in on the herd and got it. I was so excited because I wanted to get home to my babies so bad.

Steve was pretty excited we got to use his Jeep and wench to pull the buffalo up the hill!!

My man on the look out for the buffalo. We spent a lot of time doing this....talking to each other on the radios to see what everyone else was seeing!

My helpers throughout the week minus Ty. How much fun was it to hunt with my favorite guys!

We got to see a lot of this!! Isn't it beautiful!

A name and a blessing

On November 1st our sweet Sophie received a name and a blessing. What a special day this is. Ryan gave her a beautiful blessing. I only wish I had my grandmother's talent of short hand to write it all down. We are so happy this special spirit has become part of our family. We love her so much. We are thankful for all the love and support we have been given. For the many who traveled far to be here, thank you. Sweet Sophie Lorraine

Ryan, Great Grandma Roberts and Grandpa Roberts (Grandma Roberts was home sick with the flu.....but there in spirit)
After everyone had gone home I had a moment to sit on the couch and just hold and love on my baby. As I was holding her she was looking else where and just smiling and talking. She only does this if someone is talking to her. I had a over whelming feeling that her grandma Lorraine was there with us. What a perfect day!!

Roberts second annual Halloween party!

On Halloween we had our annual Halloween party with the Roberts family. It was such a hectic day.....started at the trunk or treat in Salina, then to the carnival, lunch, family pictures and finally the party! Because we had such a crazy day the only game we ended up playing was a cake walk. But everyone had fun just getting together, dressing up and having some good laughs!
Our BYU cheerleader, Darth Vader, princess Leah, Monkey man and Sophie was a pumpkin earlier, but we didn't get her back into it after family pictures :(
