Fun at the Zoo

Last Monday Lynzie invited the entire family to go to the zoo. I wasn't so sure I wanted to go and walk around, but it was fun. The kids LOVED every minute of it. Abbi wanted to be out of the stroller checking everything out!
I thought this bike was so cute and Warner was such a good sport to get his picture in front of it. I didn't even notice the sun in his eyes. But it doesn't seem to be bothering him does it? He still gave me a cheese!

Abbi just taking it all in.

Every time we walked by one of these drinking fountains Warner had to have a drink. Something about a drink from a lion!
Syd and Warner checking out something? Don't ask me what it was, but they were looking hard for it. Such a fun little outing to the zoo. Next time we need to plan to stay a little longer. It was hard fitting it all in, in a few hours!

Fathers day

What a great fathers day weekend we had. It started out Friday night all the guys went on the father and son's camp out. Saturday we went up the canyon and took them lunch. We got out of there just in time before the rain started coming down. Then Sunday after church we had steaks and so many kinds of salads for lunch. My dad actually came to us this fathers day, but he left before the camera came out. It's always so much fun spending time with family. I have such amazing fathers in my life. Both my dad and Ryan's. And not to forget the father of my children. What an amazing husband and father he is to us. Thanks for all you do and the sacrifices you make for our family. Although I came across this picture of Abbi eating something off the ground. I wonder why you weren't stopping her, instead you snapped a picture! Oh well, it's pretty cute of her!

Vegas with the girls

Thanks to our friend Stacia for always making sure us girls take usually a annual trip somewhere. If it wasn't for her we would NEVER go. She's the little mother hen who plans and keeps us all together. Last year she got married so of course we didn't take a trip because she was planning her wedding! So this year we had double shopping to do. We went to Vegas and did what we usually do. We laid by the pool, ate good food and shopped and shopped a little more. Check out Eliza's hamburger. I can't believe she actually could get her mouth over that baby! Thanks Eliza, Mae, Brit and Stacia for the great and well needed get away! I look forward to the next trip!

A day to celebrate

Last week I had the privilege to attend one of my longest greatest friends wedding. Here we are at the dinner the night before. Laraine on the left, Kindy in the middle and me on the end. Kindy is the lucky bride! It's crazy to think that we have been friends since the ninth grade. How grateful I am to have such great friends in my life. How happy I am for Kindy that she found a great guy that makes her so happy! Congrats Kin!
Here we are at the Bountiful temple. Isn't she the most beautiful bride? From her dress to the hair she just looked so classy! Hope she's having fun in Hawaii!!! Congrats again! Thanks for letting me share your special day with you.

Disneyland.....the rest of the week!

Here's Abbi at California Adventures...she enjoyed every minute she had outside of her stroller. We had to do a lot of waiting while the big kids and people who weren't pregnant went on all the rides.
This was one line we had to wait in to meet the character. Warner really was excited. You can't tell by the look on his face....he got a little shy when he was meeting Buzz Light year. As we were walking away he just sat and blew Buzz kisses. It was worth walking around Disneyland for days just to see him meet Buzz!

Now Goofy was a fun one to meet. While we were waiting in line Warner started blowing kisses again. This time goofy was blowing them back in between pictures with all the other kids. There is something so magical about the kids seeing all these cartoon characters come to life! This is Landon, Warner and Emree enjoying their moment with goofy.

Of course you can't go to Disneyland without getting your picture out front with the Mickey flowers.

Abbi and Ryan watching the parade at California adventures.

Warner was a little nervous at the parade....especially when lightning McQueen was actually driving in the parade. He stayed pretty close to me, but was sure to wave at EVERYTHING as it went by. It was a fun time during our week stay. Can't wait to go back......but not being pregnant!!

California Day 1

This last week we went to Newport Beach with my sister Kristie and their family. Thanks for the fun trip Taylor's!! This is Warner's day at the beach. We met up with a old collage friend of Ryan's and their family at Huntington Beach. Warner loved the water. It took him half the day to get use to it. He would run with his shovel to get some mud and then run from the water. Once he got use to the water you couldn't get him out!!
Abbi's highlight at the beach was the sand. At first I thought she was tired and just rolling around, but after her two hour nap she got right back in the sand to roll some more. Look at that smile on her face. Maybe it was because it was so warm....who knows, but she LOVED it!!
